Jade's Birthday

It's my birthday. I had a really nice chocolate cake with Jade written on it and got to eat it with my cousin Nina and my brother Eddie.

History of Brasil

We are staying in Arraial D'Ajuda in the Bahia region. It is Muito Bon! This is the oldest church in Brasil. It is nearly 500 years old.

This is close to the place where the Portugese first landed in Brasil.

Pedro Álvares Cabral was the discoveror of Brasil. He claimed it for the Portugese crown and he initially thought it was an island but it was actually the continent of South America.

The town here is beautiful. It is closed in the day as it is too hot so we have been hanging at the beach and the hotel pool. Town comes alive after 4pm and is a fun place to visit at night. Bom de mais!

ps; did you know that we spell Brasil with the letter z and Brasilian people use an s.

LEGOLAND

When we were in California we went to Lego land. The best bit was the miniature cities and the Star Wars scenes. Eddie got to do some robot computer programming. He had to direct the robot to get the treasure.

He got the treasure in the end!

Pool

This is our amazing pool at our hotel in brazil (Arrail d'Ajuda). It is winter here and it feels like summer. My brother and I got really bad ear infections from diving in to the water to much. We had to have ear drops and go to the doctor. The ear infections were really painful so no more swimming for us.😥

Caju nectar

This is Caju nectar juice. It's a cashew nut fruit. Who knew that's what it looked like. There is only one nut in each fruit. the juice is super yummy. We got some of the cashew nuts from the market and they were huge!

Dear room 4

Hi room 4!

Yesterday I went to radiator springs in cars movie land. I went on the cars ride and I won the race. It was so much fun. Ms larnach still hasn't noticed I am on holiday. haha. I miss you all. Love from Bob bear x

Cloud land

We are on the plane to Brazil and have just been in America. This looks like the moon but it is not the moon it is the clouds in the sky. I wish I could stand on the clouds and have a house there. It would be a soft fall if you fell out the window!

Kelly's Disney highlight

Kelly's Disneyland highlight: When I was 9yrs I went to Disneyland. I broke out in a heat rash and missed Donald Duck while at the medical centre. I was madder than ever because he is my favourite. Yesterday I finally got my photo! It's only taken 31 years to get it! Yah!

Jungle cruise

We are on the Jungle cruise which is a boat that goes down the river and we saw a tiger " DADDY WE WILL NOT BE HAVING DINNER TONIGHT BECAUSE WE'RE THE DINNER"
